Last Tuesday, for golf practice, the boys played an 9 hole tournament at the Children's Course in Gladstone.  It was a glorious, sunny fall day, perfect for golf as the boys played through the course.  Everyone had a good time honing their skills of hitting, chipping and putting.  At the end, it was Zack Paul who came out on top winning by 8 strokes.  Congratulations, Zack on a good game.

Last Tuesday I got to go to the Children's Course and play a few holes of golf with the golf team.  The weather was perfect and we had a great time getting in 4 holes before we ran out of time.  I sure wish I could have learned the game when I was a 7th and 8th grader.  Maybe I would have some skill if I had.  The boys seem to be having a great time a some are showing a talent for the game.

A new sport for us here at Rivergate this year is golf.  We are having a great time learning the in's and out's of the game at the Children's Course in Gladstone.  Currently we have 10 boys participating in the program and all seem to be having a great time.
